Many of Cardinal Ximenez's reforming activities occurred prior to Martin Luther posting the 95 Theses on the door of the Wittenberg Castle church. For example, he founded the University of Alcala in 1508 in order to provide a more educated clergy and his Complutensian Polyglot Bible was published the same year Luther posted the 95 Theses.
More information about Cardinal Ximenez will be added later.
